Re: WTB Vespa water cooled head

Anyone have one they wanna part with?

Re: WTB Vespa water cooled head

I haven’t seen the old-school ones around in a long time they were pretty sparse even a decade ago.

There were a couple different styles as well- at least one of which was made by Polini

There is a newer MLM one that treats had but it only would fit subframe models (not Ciao) and I believe it is meant for kitted motors.

Not sure if they will be doing another run of these any time soon.

MLM vespa piaggio water cooled head - 43mm polini

Yeah, I searched for a old school polini one but the Euro boiz be drooling over them so they are hard to find.

The MLM one is nice, but remember no decomp so you gotta be clever

Re: WTB Vespa water cooled head

I heard they won't be making any of the MLM LC heads anytime soon.

Its that time of year

Re: WTB Vespa water cooled head

Ya vespas need a one way bearing to start like hobbits but it's not to date possible. That would be the ticket for a water-cooler. Drill starting eats the variator nut.

I've always pedal/bump started all my Vespa and never used decompression valve. Ya gotta hold your lip JUST right 🤣
