Are we comparing pears with apples here: A Maxi vs a Pinto, Biturbo vs Proma Circuit , 14mm Bing vs 15mm, Fairings vs naked. This can get all very subjective if we start talking also about colors and grades of shades. LOL
Why is the pinto doing 38? maybe because I'm breaking in it and I don't want to be aggressive with my jetting yet. My mix is still rich and my temp 290 and I wanted that way for now, I melted the stock cylinder not doing that again.
Why I did not put a 70 CC kit?
I want to keep thing borderline legal, the next guy can always just drop a 70 cc, a red and crank and get "comfortably" 60MPH. Sure.
Is it ported yes it is ported, and I also refinished the top engine with ceramic paint, added allen bolts, new filters, all new break lines, clutch and throttle lines, BMX handlers with new brake levers and grips, new tail plate and tail light, new petcock, tanked derusted, well bearing repacked, brakes serviced and refinished, front fork serviced, new rear motorcycle springs. Wheels refinished. Black clutch springs w synthetic oil, new pegs and arms... and I can keep going.
So this "Dude" here has a great attention to details and I don't think it is all about speed. In fact I didn't realize this was a speed competition in paper. In any case you won man I'm stepping back. You can get mopeds for dirt in Ohio and you can put a kit together in less that an hour that is great man. Kudos for you and your skills.
I had to pay $350 plus $80 shipping for a beated and rusted pinto with many missing parts. But I did love the line and the tank so I went all in for the bare metal look style. I'll keep tuning it until it get sold and it will get sold. I have no doubts I'm not selling smoke and mirrors. it's a solid build with many good part and has still space for improvements.
Thank you though for the nice people I've meet here and their very helpful interventions. But there is to much envy and hate here for me so done with this tread and this forum. No hard feeling is just this is not for me.
Good luck all and stay safe on the road.
