Puch Magnum in Wisconsin

Just pulled this Magnum out if a Minnesota barn.

Engine turns...still has loads of dust on her. No title.

Make an offer.

I do have the chain covers and the little red square covers as well.

Triple PM. I feel like we should say what we offered instead of wondering and waiting for Jon to take the best silent order I am guessing.....

Re: Puch Magnum in Wisconsin

I’m curious to know what marks it out as a first year, Spanish XK. I had no idea there were so many details like that!

Off the top of my head some of differences are :

Vin plate says Spain

Superman‘s style tail light,

Rear rack that has a screw through it into seat trunk and a plastic piece between the seat supporting it,

Goofy difference size pedal cranks,

Very small pedals,

Different pedal shaft and frame area Unique to that magnum,

Seat does not have a bead on seat cover around the bottom flaps just glued to underneath and seat is a tiny bit shorter,

The fork lock can be different but there’s different fork locks, keys and three or more differences in frame and fender configurations of all years magnums.

I have one of these Spanish XK's, it def has a unique feel about it when riding compared to other XK's.

I have one of each, there is a difference in the feel of them, Your feet and legs do set different then later years magnums due to the short pedals pedal, cranks, shaft and frame being narrower and seat feels different but I wonder there is wheelbase, rake differences.

I never took complete measurements or pictures of frames of different years when completely disassembled like I should’ve.
