Sad. How much for the whole bike?
I agree. What if I picked up the whole bike from you in Sacramento?
it’s been a few years (so an underside photo might help) but fyi for the buyer i had that seat redone by Larry at San Leandro Auto Upholstery, who did(/does) an awesome job... proper cleaning + painting/rust prevention with the pan, gnar glue etc.
Srsly tho. Someone buy this whole thing. Shame to part
just in case it eases anyone’s bummer —> this wasn’t a whole 1980 MKII that is being “parted”.. it was cobbled together (expensively) and never had turn signals/gold 5 stars/dash/hydros etc etc.
individual pieces returning to the wild and getting multiple bikes either more complete or back on the road (and getting elvis some scratch) imo isn’t a tragic loss... but just one dude’s opinion. either way hit him up with an offer on the lot (edited)
Thank you Steven! I appreciate the comment! I am keeping the frame and swing arm and few other bits and pieces. I have another tank and seat that I am going to put on it. I just don’t want to paint over the UPS tank so I rather sell it to someone who wants to piece together their own UPS.
