LeSolex in France

I am trying to order a new pedal crank arm with sprocket for my 58 Moby AV88.

One of the guys here on the forum was kind enough to direct me to LeSolex.com in France which shows one for 35 Euros plus shipping. I'm willing to pull the trigger and order it but I'm having an issue with there website.

I fill out there order form and put in my phone number and hit enter. It won't accept the phone number. I went on line to find the international access code for the US and added that still no go. I emailed them and got an automatic reply acknowledging my email and saying they would get back to me. So far nothing.

Anyone on the forum do business with them? Know what I'm missing phone number wise?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Not to talk down, but you included the country code in your email, right?

I've ordered stuff from France and you may need your info put in by the company to match there data reqs

Yeah, I went on line and looked up the US country code. Did me no good.

Marc can be very slow and other times fast as hell. I have no idea how the pandemic is impacting him at the moment and may be on limited access to his place. But I have never been left hanging by him, if he responds.

For formatting your number, format it their way, as in +00 0 00 00 00 00. I can't remember but you may or may not need the +. I have always cheated and just used the number of the school I taught at in France. So you may try that too.

Re: LeSolex in France

I have also only had good experiences with Marc. Sometimes he tries to talk me out of purchases because the shipping will be more that the item price; but he always comes around when he accepts that I am crazy :)

Still no reply and yes I have checked my spam filter. Going to try again.

Tried again just a moment ago. Marc's website still won't accept my phone number.

I put in 011 1 602 826 9*** and his web site says to put in the correct number.

What am I not understanding about his order form?

So if I get you post correctly it would be 01 1 16 02 82 69 ** * is that right?

And I can't use the school I taught at in France never bee there.

Re: LeSolex in France

When I ordered a while back I just used a number in France. It’s mainly technical. Try that and see. If I can remember it was a local French phone number no country code. It worked. Hope this helps. Also my buddy is working on that exact same bike and is looking for a fender not dented up too badly. Thanks

Sorry, I don't have any spares for this bike. Wish I could help you.

I don't have any phone numbers for anyone in France. Wonder if I used there number if that would work?

Re: LeSolex in France

I have a crank and pedal arms for that. It’s not new but🤷‍♂️

John, I was meaning exactly what Charles said, which is that you could just use a random real french number yourself if all else fails, but I can see how I left that vague.

As long as the asterisks you have are not place holders, give that a try. Try it with the + and if that doesn't work, try it without. If you still have no luck, use google to find a random number in France, like Charles and I said.

Marc tends to interact primarily via email in my experience and you can inform him to not call the number in the comments box when you send the order.

Is the sprocket attached to the RH crank arm? I can find the ones with the sprocket attached to the shaft.

Send me a picture.
