Larry always has the best deals
Great deal! GLWS!
Would you be willing to sell in the summer for something more around $340 and meet at a halfway point around Trenton or Levittown? I've been ghosted twice now for mopeds...
Woodpile is the perfect background, beautiful Puch👌🏼
So, let me get this straight......you want Larry to hold it until the summer (which he clearly stated no holds) for less money AND meet you halfway? I’m sure Larry will go for it. (edited)

If this Maxi was with 3-4 hours away from me. I would be on my way with cash in hand. Thats a GREAT deal for a fairly nice and complete Maxi.
I drove about 6 hours round trip last month for a maxi in a little worse mechanical shape for pretty much the same price.
A little pricey, esp for non running...
Fair price. If it were within two hours of me I'd be all over it. e50 Hi torques are good running machines. Later model forks (post 77). Fairly complete. Looks like a clone carb, but would probably start right up.
Lol Pascal has literally just stepped into the moped world... and has been trolling for a running bike for under $300... fact is that the market is different pretty much everywhere you go and has been trending more expensive in the last couple years.
If this thing has spark and compression, then it's worth that $300 you're trying to con someone into accepting for a runner. In NY it's probably worth more than asking price, even without the side covers or air box (based on what I've seen bikes sold for in that area and the condition they're in).
That page on Detroit Moped Works is trying to downplay the value of a complete bike that's not running to try and optimize a profit off of customer supplied project bikes. That's understandable for a business that purchases bikes that need love, gets them up to road worthy again, sells them, and needs to keep the lights on and employees paid... they are professionals and deserve to walk away with a profit! You're a rookie hobbiest (I'm being generous), who most likely hasn't and won't invest in the time, tools and education that it takes to restore these bikes at a quality level. Don't start throwing links you found on the inter-webs around like you know what you're talking about. Start working on building your knowledge and experience (and probably start using personal messages so you don't get grilled like this again).
Anyway, this bike still looks great and has clearly been taken care of. Good luck with the sale and the move!!
Not a joke, and actually not a bad offer compared to thr Facebook Marketplace crowd., lol.
I take no offense.
The NY metro market has been pretty dry lately, just put this one out there for someone to get started in the hobby.

The Puch has been sold. Thanks everyone!
Same bike listed for $240 on North Jersey Clist
https://newjersey.craigslist.org/mpo/d/dumont-rare-1980-puch-maxi-parts-bike/7262999721.html
I'm guessing that's where Larry sold it...
Why ask less on clist and more for MopedArmy peeps ?
