Need one on the cheaper side to put on my old moby I have no engine and very little money
You need more than an engine, but damn, that is a pretty bike, best of luck to you!
Thanks and I do know there's more needed however, that's the most important item thats missing.
I have a good engine minus the variator and carb if your interested.
Is that the one that used the special head with a higher mount?

I'm not sure, there's no info for me to go off of

Looking at it i think so

How would I find out if it needs them?
Apparently since it has shocks it would've been a 50cc motor. Was doing research.
Figure out year and model. Maybe someone who knows Motobecanes inside and out will chime in, but it looks like it would take the AV88 style head.

Looking at pics online of one I dont think your wrong. It does seem like one however I cant find any info on chassis numbers for something this old, it doesn't help that someone had repainted it either.
Get the head and pipe from Sabat, then any old AV7 will do. If you want it to look super original you will want to hunt down an av88 cylinder as well, but not necessary to get things rolling.

How much would you want for them if they are?

I'm not worried about originality just because its missing so much. BTW where can I get a tire at? My front tire is ready to blow.
Treatlland.tv or Dos Cycles will probably have a tire, email Dos if they don't have them listed on their website.

Also you wouldn't know any good websites that sell parts for this other than ebay?
treatland.tv

Ty!
Np, read the wiki on this site, lots of info on parts dealers, an all models of moped, check out the Motobecane section!
Thanks for the great Info!
$50.00 It has good compression.
I'll have to save up for it but ill let you know when I get that much
I could be wrong, but you may be able to find someone to trade you a running or complete/easy to get running moped for that frame. It is a pretty neat Moby frame, but it may not be much fun if your budget is super tight.
