The year is on the tag on the frame look real close at it. It will say the year right in front of the words 50cc a35.

I went out to Newark about 3 months back got an a35 that turned out to be a a3
engine. Should have seen it. But that was my fault (edited)

The moped I think is a 1998 - tag is hard to read - attached a picture - Yes this a a35 with an airsal kit and pipe.

Looks like a few POs back before you might have scratched at the vin tag. In Ohio I think it's almost impossible to register without vin#s. (edited)
