Ok, typically I know or can kinda guestimate the value of a bike i'm going to buy, but this is a whole different ballgame. I can go pick one up in meh condition that hasn't been running in a while for 350, and I think i am going to. I always see them listed for 1200+ in the winter, but don't know if they actually sell for that price. I know its not really a moped, but its got the spirit

that engine is easy to fix
its a Westbend 820
vintage go kart engine but parts everywhere
i have had 3 Sno Runners go thru my hands
the last and best one i had i traded straight up for a 1971 Hodaka Dirt Squirt
that is how much they are worth

It is worth everything. If I lived someplace with snow I would be turning my mini bike into a snow ped with tracks and skis. This is dope!

All the covers are present that are ALWAYS broken so grab it! FYI these absolutely suck in snow deeper than 6" which is why the Army refused delivery. They were the original contractors for the 10th Mountain Division, but the thing failed trials. Chrysler in their need for greed and speed, built them in bulk before approval and got stuck with them. Thus the civilian Sno-Runner was born.

I’m exited to get it! Might be a while until snow, but I think this will break down and can fit in the trunk of my 78 town car, so winter will be fun

Cleaned it up, got it running, and am quickly re evaluating my choice. I may have it for sale soon, takes up a bunch of space in my garage and I’ll be moving my rx7 in soon.

I don’t remember for sure, something about the exhaust. Should be easy to find.

performance exhaust has one pipe exit, really a stinger.
i sold my perf muffler for $300.00
rare part
slow perf muffler has many small holes
carb was the same although you could put a bigger one on there
slow perf motor had a head gasket.
normal performance is 20mph tops.

^^Yeah, that sounds like what I remember reading. It seems to me that one could fab up an expansion chamber pretty easy, Check the squish and maybe deck the head til appropriate, maybe port the cylinder a bit, make a 24mm carb adapt, jet properly, and get a few more hp, but I haven’t been able to get my hands on one here. I came close once.
