Who needs a Sprinter Van?

When you can have the ultimate moped mover?

Probably sucks to drive but it's only up to 8,800 on bringatrailer.com

Re: Who needs a Sprinter Van?

Probably Fred /

That thing is sweet way better than a cheap plywood RV,

I would love to have something like that but I’m sure the bid at the last minute will be 3 to 4 times the bid now,

I hate bid stuff, just put a decade or so more ago there was so much less of this bidding, you ask the price you make a deal you get whatever,

Now it’s horrible soon as you make a price, some jealous knucklehead calls the seller from another state and says “why are selling so cheap” for no reason at all and by the time you get there the deals over,

Re: Who needs a Sprinter Van?

My father has had one of these (the 4x4, not 6x6) for about the past 15 years now. He initially bought it for our property in Mendocino county but it lives at my folks in the east bay. It’s the ultimate hauler for sure, pretty capable off road as well. Pretty limited by the narrow wheel base and a also pretty low to the ground-the portal axles give a bit of “extra” clearance but not a super substantial amount.

“Probably sucks to drive”- absolutely, it’s a work out for sure. Drives and feels very similar to a few bus. Will get 68-70 on the freeway. Drinks gas. Has tons of neat little features and extras. We got it as an upgrade for our fj40- and the pinzgauer is worlds more capable (obviously). Highly recommended for anyone on the fence... my username may make more sense now...

Would love to answer any questions if any one has any regarding the vehicle!
