Moby Mags (Rare)

Here is a set, Front and Rear Motobecane Mags.

Selling them for $250 shipped.

They have the center hubs, no brake plate.

These are in great shape.

The real question is what happened to the brake plates from this set here? Were they used on another set of wheels? If so there might be a chance of figuring out what other backing plates are compatible with these wheels.

Re: Moby Mags (Rare)

I gave a complete set of these away to Zero Rollin, mopeds are dumb and so is selling parts for stupid high prices

Re: Moby Mags (Rare)

I am sorry to be that guy but I used my drum brake plate from my spoke rims. They work fine. And yes using the plates on another set of Mags I have. you can even Puch brake plate too (edited)

Yes, mopeds are dumb, but giving something away only to criticize someone's price is sanctimonious posturing.

Pics with said backing plates in place would help sell these. Also, the average price for a set of mags with backing plates is $150 shipped. If they are indeed rare maybe a little more. If they dont have backing plates then a little less.

A complete set of moby 6 star mags, that spin straight can bring $200-$250 shipped pretty easily. A decent set of these for $150 shipped would sell within hours. For sure a harder sale when you remove the brake plates, which i thought were kind of unique to these mags but i could be wrong on that.
