I picked up this dirt bike for $100 but it’s missing some parts. I think it’s a 1974/75 Puch MC 125 it’s got great compression, I was able to order a carb kit for it, but I need an exhaust pipe, coil and wiring, shift lever, shift shaft, seat, front sprocket and washer/nut

Obviously. Andy wouldn't say he believed they took the same ignitions if the taper was different.

I didn't take the flywheel off to check the taper but all outer appearances lead me to believe it is the same.

obviously one would measure the taper before buying an expensive ignition

Matt Quirk at Motorwest will have the stuff you need. I'm rebuilding an SR125 which seems to be almost the same engine just for the street version of the bike. He's helped me source all the parts I needed.
