Puch Cobra gas tank for sale. Has one small dent upfront and in the rear above the logo. pretty clean inside. The previous owner did jb weld the petcock in place for some reason. 150 shipped.
Ouch! Is that a Jb weld job? I’d buy it for way cheaper

No (because I don't have any interest in Puch Top Tanks), but if I was interested I would make an offer, not just insulting the seller by saying "Id BuY iT cHeApEr."
Like I said, if you can find spare Cobra tanks lying around that you want to sell for less money, corner the market. Until then Tyler will continue to offer hard to find parts at completely reasonable prices.
$150 for a desirable gas tank is not outlandish, even with the nut for the petcock epoxied in place by the PO.
Looks to have been coated inside as well..
has it been coated inside to stop the other leaks? Makes it shitty to powder coat if its been coated.. the coating burns out. whomp whomp...
There are no rust points on this tank if that is what you are referring to.
It's definitely not coated, that's just tank overspray during manu.
it is redkoted

How an old cobra gas tank could start such a conversation.
