Preferably numbers matching in good shape.

Thanks

Do you need the piston? I have the cylinder and head.

Waste of time!

get a good 50cc kit, learn to time and tune and you’ll be Way ahead of the game!

There is a certain amount of being a psychic here what the hell are you looking for? I heard of high compression but high torque I think you better play with your sprockets

Puch had a factory topend which was called the 'hi-torque'. it had, as the name implied, higher compression.

Re: WTB Hi torque top end

It's nos. The only thing that was wrong with it was the dent you see on the skirt in this picture that had the piston tight at the bottom of the cylinder. (edited)

Re: WTB Hi torque top end

I dremeled this spot and the piston drops right through now. That and it needs a top dyke ring that I used in another engine. Even comes with wrist pin and clips. Interested? Shot me a offer.

Looks great! I'll send you a message

That dykes ring can be a little hard to find, but iirc, you can make a Vespa ring work close enough. Also, Myrons mopeds can file one to size for ya, but it costs a bit. That’s the way I went with mine, and it’s still running strong.

Sweet! They didn’t have that when I was looking for mine. That was quite a while back tho. That’s good to know!

I'm not the type to sell someone something they can't use. I looked it up first before I posted it.

Re: WTB Hi torque top end

Hi torque top and it’s a waste of time compared to a kit, if you can’t do 35-40 mph you’ll probably end up being hit by a car unless where are you are speed limit only 25 mph,

My bikes if I have to go across country all I have to do is bring extra gas oil mixture in a can!

See I know all these people Dumbass distracted Weed, meth or any other drug addicted and or Alcohol impaired stoned drivers that go 11 to 22 miles over the speed limit or so slow that you’ll get creamed between them) when they come up to you in a few hundred feet they will clock you unless you could go off road to the right!

So as you got a soon as you see a light or car in your mirror you got to floor it or get out of the way

I kind of wish you could unload a 30 round clip into these distracted nutcase, drug addicts wrong way driver’s alcohol impaired mental health issue, phone in face (which I saw 10 today alone) people but you can’t without being in jail!

I’m sorry Stephen. I wasn’t trying to insinuate that! I know you’re a straight shooter, and I think quite highly of you. I was only trying to post another source for the rings. I apologize if I came across as though you were posting something unusable, it wasn’t my intent.

Oh no I didn't take it that way at all. No apologize needed. The reason I had this top end so long is because I robbed the top ring for another engine and couldn't find another one until not long ago. You were right about that ring being hard to find.
