Jawa 210 rear sprocket

Does anyone have a rear sprocket smaller than 51 teeth that will fit a Jawa 210? Not sure if the ones from a 207 fit. Jawa Shop has 41 for a 210 and a 35 for a 207.

Re: Jawa 210 rear sprocket

Typo. Jawa shop has 47 for 210 in addition to the standard 51.

Thanks Alex. You're the only one reading this...

I know

Re: Jawa 210 rear sprocket

Hey Frank,

The 35 tooth off a 207 has a hole spacing of 48.5mm (approx) center to center on the six holes, it's diameter (if you can call it that as it's a snowflake cut) is around 89.5mm (ish). I say ish because I'm getting a .1 - .2 variance from different spots so split the difference and call it 89.5

Let me know if that fits on a 210 as I've been wondering about grabbing a 57 tooth for a 207 with a cylinder graft just for shits and giggles.

Re: Jawa 210 rear sprocket

Sweaty, thanks for the intel.

My 210 measures out about the same. So I'm guessing the sprockets bolt pattern is the same between the 207 and 210. The 35 tooth might be a little too tall a ratio even with a 13 tooth drive sprocket on a two speed. If I can find one locally I'll give it a try just because I'm a glutton for punishment.

What do you plan on doing with a 57 tooth? Climbing trees?

Thanks again!

Re: Jawa 210 rear sprocket

There's one on ebay but they want $32 shipped for it and Lucky2Strokes has one for $15 (35 tooth sprockets), I've never seen anything other than 35/47/51/57 out there.

Mainly I've been toying with the idea of the 57 just to push me into milling the case to fit a larger front sprocket. Figured I already have a 14 so might as well just get weird with it and see how big I could go. (edited)

Re: Jawa 210 rear sprocket

A 15 tooth front would be fun if you can find or adapt one. I might try the Lucky2strokes one if none turns up here. Many say they're hitting 40 on these. I'm not there yet and wonder if that is realistic while keeping good takeoff even on a two speed. I'd settle for a consistent 38 or so.

Re: Jawa 210 rear sprocket

A 14 is the largest (to my knowledge) that was made, anything larger you need to fab.

Re: Jawa 210 rear sprocket

Just confirmed the 207 and 210 rear hubs are the same. # 451 9 228 56 018 is in both spare parts manuals.

Now to get one of those 39t sprockets while on vacation in Europe...

Eyeballing it sure looks more like 35 teeth to me

Re: Jawa 210 rear sprocket

WTH it does count to 35t. Sigh...

Re: Jawa 210 rear sprocket

They might not even know it's the wrong image or are using the 35t as a placeholder, shoot them an email and see what's what.

Re: Jawa 210 rear sprocket

Ok, giving up and going with the 47t from Jawashop. That and the 2.75 rear tire should be a nice speed bump without sacrificing takeoff on a two speed.

Re: Jawa 210 rear sprocket

What front sprocket are you running with it?

Re: Jawa 210 rear sprocket

Going with the stock 14 on a two speed. The single speed with 13-51 buzzes up to 35ish now. This should be interesting.

Re: Jawa 210 rear sprocket

8.5% speed increase 8.5% torque loss with the 14-47 vs 14-51.
