Selling my 1975 Ratty Cimatti City Bike. This is the last bike in my personal collection that I'm selling. It's been one of the most reliable bikes I've ever owned. She was used for 11 straight years as a loaner bike at my annual MopedLar Rides. She's always run perfectly, but after a 2 year hiatus from being ridden, she's now developed a no idle condition and I just don't have time to troubleshoot her anymore. She still starts and runs like a top. Everything works. No title. She looks ratty, but she's still a Cimatti! Always a crowd pleaser at Moped Rides and Rallies. Pick up in Port Murray, NJ. Dear God Lar take it with you and turn it into lawn art make a bird bath out of it...

That ratty clematis has so much history on it oh dear lord is that the one I wrote off the road with you and Rob and I went off into the woods instead of trying to make that supersharp corner and Wrecking it in the Gully?

Somebody please adopt this Cimatti and give it the attention it derserves.

Here is a picture of my 1975 after being stored in a shed for 40 years.

Motor rebuild by Mr. Richard Eberline (rocket man) and she runs "purr-fect".

I cleaned and polished her the best I could. The remaining "patina" is a reminder of her past and I am proud to ride her. She makes people smile, for sure.

Slew, she’s too good to be lawn art. This Ratty Cimatti still has plenty of life left in her. I’m assuming she Just needs her idle port cleaned and she should be back on the road again. I could just keep her, but it’s time to move her on so I can get ready for my relocation to VA. I’m sure someone will give her a good home. (edited)

I really hate to do it, but if no MA takers by the end of the day, she’s going on FB Marketplace on Monday. I was really hoping someone from MA would buy it. C’mon it’s not too late to save my beloved Ratty Cimatti! (edited)

Mopeds liar you can leave it here and I'll find a place and you can use it every time you're up here if you can wait until the 3rd I'll get you a check I'm still waiting on my settlement I know somebody up in Pine Grove that would love that she's an elderly lady but she got guts

Update:

I got bored this morning, so I changed the flywheel side oil seal and now she's starting, idling and running like a champ. Dan's getting a helluva deal on this bike!
