The batavus rescue project is really coming together. The final parts I need are two side covers.

Hey cheetah Chrome just a head up you can use Puch flywheel covers with little mod get yourself some batavus emblems

Dude I just used one of them Guatemalans string dolls and I put oh rap of wire through and use the ears to tie it off it works and it looks like voodoo
I have one it's a little beat up but I have one I even have the little rubber thingy
How close is the ID on this?
I remember seeing covers somewhere. I'll keep looking.

I measured the Batavus casses and it's about 23.5 mm
Mine has an exhaust Scorch on it like somebody put a cigarette out on it almost

I had always read that they were close/fit but i dont think i ever measured my bat case to see if it would actually work.
they're $44 but they come with stickers lol

I actually have new decals for them
Went with the Dr George suggestion and got two Motobecane covers frome Treatland then the two stickers form Junkyard. The fit very well with the included rubber tab thingys.
I have repaired every light and all switches and brakes work perfect. I have new plates and papers as well.
This rescue bike fix up is done and ready for the block for sale.

Hey if you got another project I have a crazy Wayne modded 35 a mile per hour carburetor and bored out 42 millimeter OEM cylinder and it has the a channel in the skirt and bottom end I also have some motor brackets Once Upon a Time there was this Mars forged Puch motobecane variator adapter thingy but in route it meanders its way into somebody else's hands and disappeared into the frogs of History I never was re-inspired so it rots like an old British brigand in the cage in front of my house as an example to the other mopeds to stay in line and not get any ideas about mutiny I got to change my meds to something more sativa e...
