Normal cut gears throw the bell and countershaft towards the clutch cover ( this puts a load on the circlip and can make it pop out) If you run a normal cut gear in 3 bearing case it will throw the counterahaft against the case wall and just heat up. Revere cut don’t put out less stress it just chages the direction of the stress and removes the weight load where it’s not wanted.
