FS - Custom SHA Slides

I have 4 custom SHA slides for sale. These are a mix between a #7 and #2 with added airholes for a leaner mixture. The airholes are designed in a way to lean the mixture but not lose a lot of air velocity. This gives a little more throttle response and fixes a small boggy spot right off idle. Or its all made up and the points don't matter. These are 3D printed in a pa12 nylon. The first one was put in a e50 70tccd converted to a reed kit with a 15 sha. Ran great the whole Upjet rally and the LGN rally and is still currently working fine.

$15 shipped each. First 4 get em. More to come. Thanks.

so you can see what I did there.

Re: FS - Custom SHA Slides

Hey Brenden!

Nice

I’ll take one next time you come to Philly

Re: FS - Custom SHA Slides

So this an attempt to solve the SHA's low rpm rich to high rpm lean? Should I read up on SHA slide numbers instead of blindly buyin this?

Re: FS - Custom SHA Slides

No chance of this cracking and being sucked into motor?

Re: FS - Custom SHA Slides

Nice I have 15/15 dellorto with a 50cc treat kit on it which one you recommend to get?

Re: FS - Custom SHA Slides

Are you seeing that much performance boost over a regular #7?

Re: FS - Custom SHA Slides

All 4 are spoken for but I will have more towards the end of next week. If you messaged me I will keep a list and contact everyone when restocked. Thanks!

If the slide were to break its gonna be where the throttle cable rests. It would suck but doubtful anything would get sucked into the engine. Pa12 nylon has all the characteristics to hold up under the conditions. Ive also soaked these with brake cleaner and had no issues with cracking, swelling, or chipping. Its been in a bike for 2 months now that gets heavy use and no issues, looks the same as when I threw it in.

It gives a little more throttle response. Nothing crazy but enough to keep using it. I tried giving a 7 slide an angled bottom which was a subtle improvement but I wanted more.

Re: FS - Custom SHA Slides

That sounds cool, wouldn't mind grabbing one if you get more in!

Re: FS - Custom SHA Slides

Would love to hear more feedback about these.

Re: FS - Custom SHA Slides

Are these 3D printed? Any chance that I could get ahold of the STLs for personal use? I'd like to be able to print them and experiment with them a bit for my own bike. No reselling, obviously.

Re: FS - Custom SHA Slides

I’ll take one next time around!

Re: FS - Custom SHA Slides

I will buy one too, when they're available.

Re: FS - Custom SHA Slides

RESTOCKED. Got about 12 of 'em. If I messaged you privately you have dibbs for a few days.

Re: FS - Custom SHA Slides

WHat printer you using to print in Nylon? Would love to try printing some stuff in nylon. I find myself constantly using my printer for custom moped parts.

Not sure I have it ordered through shapeways. SLS printers are very expensive and not affordable for what I'm doing. Carbon filled nylon printed through a regular fdm printer can give good results and hold up to harsher environments.

Oh okay so you designed the STL and are sending it to a print farm to make, very cool! Would love to do that for a few final versions of my designs.

Got 4 more left! More on the way along with a few other things. Thanks to everyone who has bought one so far or contacted me to talk about these. I appreciate it.

HELL YA MAN THANKS SO MUCH!!! Very excited to see you guys

Re: FS - Custom SHA Slides

I want one asap

Re: FS - Custom SHA Slides

I got mine as well! Shipped and made really well.

Excited to try it out in the next week or so.

Thanks again man!

Re: FS - Custom SHA Slides

wow thats really clever, the whole putting holes through it.

Re: FS - Custom SHA Slides

Some Light sanding was required when installing mine.

I have a stock 12mm intake+sha Morini. Idles smoother at a much lower rpm. Low-mid acceleration is also smother and less boggy when opening up the throttle. Would buy more/again.
