FS: M101 Morini

Morini M101, rebuilt motor from a past cbbg, new Airsal Kit, mlm intake, vm18, rear variator from a modern Morini m101, Vespa 8 roller up front, new belt, cnc’d clutch bell, Piectcard cdi, modified Vespa Simonini, new tires.

Runs! But I never tuned the new variator, I just lost interest in this bike and it needs someone who is gonna love it.

Motori Piccoli made a really nice frame and then the legend M101 is the cherry on top. I have owned a few of these and can say 100% that this is worth every cent

Re: FS: M101 Morini

Thanks guys, hoping it finds the right home!

Looking to get into mopeds. Is this difficult to maintain and what is the displacement?

This is probably not the best first moped for a person to get. Get a puch maxi. Or a magnum if you need to pretend you're cool.

Thanks for the input. Any reason why a Puch maxi or magnum?

Cheap, parts are everywhere, good documentation. Personally I would go with a Tomos, that was my first moped and it was really reliable and easy to work on

Re: FS: M101 Morini

Okay, I've gotta say this about the M101...…...about 12 or 13 yrs. ago, at Circleville race track, they had a really good race.

One of the lighter weight guys won it, but I was so impressed by the way the modded M101 pulled that huge guy,Chris of Mopedwarehouse, almost to victory.

It was plain to see that the engine was the most powerful there.

BJ tried to sell me a new one years ago, and I wish I'da bought it.
