I know I know, who doesn’t. But I’m in South Dakota and it’s one of the last bikes I really want. I know they are spendy. Gonna need it shipped or somehow brought to this part of the country. I’m willing to pay real pricing.

Real talk. The Laguna is actually not as cool as you think. They're much better to look at than ride.

I agree with that statement, I like rd 50s and C-5 Diablos much better and sle/sports are way more comfortable to ride for long periods of time,
But ya a laguna sport looks so cool and fast,
I know of one but the old guy will never sell, he don’t ride it that I know of but he’ll never sell it and a few other cool bikes he has like a mint c5 Diablo
My Laguna was my favorite bike to ride although when you’re 6 feet and over you look a little cramped. The stock sound is music.
Rd50 is by far my favorite bike. Always wanted a laguna but lost interest after I bought the rd. I understand the kinda end game bike desire though so good luck! They come up, just have to have the cash and jump on it.

Still have the one you sold me awhile back Dan, the prize piece of my collection for sure. Don't know if I'll ever be able to bring myself to sell it.
Why not just put a Derbi PP on a Puch Magnum?
Find a homie in Spain (I know some people in the community here have connections) and just get a Coppa. Sure you would have to either ride dirty or you could put whatever variant motor you want on it and keep the engine for the future, but you might find one sooner and for about the same price in the end.
No guarantees on if it does turnout better, but its an option to consider.

That’s not a bad idea. South Dakota doesn’t give 2 shits about mopeds or small bikes. No title registration or even a need to prove insurance is required (still supposed to have it but you don’t have to prove it?) one of our other guys had to fight with the dmv just to register his mb5 they just wanted to consider it a moped and call it a day
It is v expensive to ship a moped from Spain. You have to ship it all in several boxes to even make it through customs. An engine alone is over 100 to ship, I dont even want to think about how much a frame would be.
