i had an old russian folding bike that had rims like that...
u could break off hunks with your hand...
30 plus years old metal.
hit any bump to jar that fix & it would just break in a new area...it can't take the heat.
Then replace the rears rim... it still has the hub and all the hardware. Would be ideal to mount a disk brake to the rear hub for a disk brake conversion. Good sets of these are fetching over $200 plus shipping so im not asking the moon. Bare in mind i have to ship these for the price stated.

Someone should snag this set and just wait for a cheap front rim to pop up. Swap over the rear hub and you are good to go.
