Correct. The springs are all the same size. You have to have the correct centerstand and the bracket shim in place. If the shim is missing, the stand in the retracted position will sit too high and your spring may also appear loose. I have many, many springs and they are all the same size.

Bracket shim is that metal flange that bolts onto the back side of the bracket?
Yes. The shim was really only used with longer center stands as found on Magnums. If your center stand or holder has wear, this will also affect the spring and how loose it appears
