I bought it. Yes, I had to remove the studs to split the cases then throw the crank and whole top end in the garbage, but I can guarantee this motor will run again.

I would have bought it for $120, those are hard engines to fine. How hard is it to throw a crank and top end on a V1... come on man!

Ill have it built soonish, I'm working on finishing up a V1L first. Was more of a project then slapping a polini on.

I haven't had a hard time finding regular v1ks. I bought a running one with the sha and turt pipe from europe for 30 euros plus 90 shipping recently. You can find them for 60 - 90 euros over there but the shipping will kill the deal. He is sending me another c2 and a p4 head for $240 shipped next. The motors I can't seem to find are the case inducted versions and the carabelas personally.
I wouldn't pay $120 for this either but to say it wouldn't run again is silly unless you mean with the stock piston, crank and all, but it's obvious that would be stripped off to rebuild or kit so what're you saying? That bottom end will obviously run again
How much will the motor total after the $120 for it, the kit, a new crank and a rebuild kit? If all that stuff is laying around then it's worth it in the end I guess
