FS/FT: Moparts Racing Hybrid Vario conversion for vespa

Converts single speed vespa transmission to vario and allows the use of a minarelli scooter clutch.

I bought the first version of this a few years ago and ended up abandoning the project that this was meant for.

There is also someone making a kit to run a scooter clutch on the stock variated transmission. Here is a photo of it from another thread.

I'm saving those tech docs for future use. I have a feeling I will need to repro the hybrid shaft I currently have.

I did the swap on a kinetic single speed transmission, I’ve run into a few issues using it vs the Vespa trans. The oil seal for sure the scooter shaft was a larger od I had to open that up on the kinetic case. Then I went to put it in a Vespa spoked wheel and the case was rubbing on the spokes so I turned off the material that was rubbing, It fit in a mag wheel fine before machining. I’m hoping to test is out in the next month or so, it’s going on a grande I’m building.
