Theres no Batavus on the planet worth $1500 bucks, especially a Bronco . . . Now if you had one in the original shipping package with "0" miles, maybe someone would near put up the cash, but $1500 even for a really nice one, thats just crazy talk . . .

Your not old enough to buy or sell a moped.

I hope you didn't cost you too much for it 7 months ago.

Re: 1977 Batavus Bronco *NEAR MINT* $1500

For not hating on your bike. You just don't realize they arn't a very desirable bike and they're not worth much. Maybe a few hundred at the most.

Re: 1977 Batavus Bronco *NEAR MINT* $1500

Jimmy Cincinnati /

Realistically that is a $350 - $450 bike back in Cincinnati. That would be a excellent good running condition which your bike might meet. But $1500 is absolute insanity.

Serious just pull the add down, no one will ever buy it for that. Your only going to get hate mail here. Your price is sooo high no one can even make a reasonable counter.

I owned the twin of that bike a few years ago and sold it in Chicago for about $300. I got mine at a yard sale for $40, put a new top end on it, installed a 14/12 Dellorto carb and sold it running.

Just so I'm clear, none of you moped connoisseurs want to buy this particular moped for $1500?

Re: 1977 Batavus Bronco *NEAR MINT* $1500

never, its a batavus(no performance parts)

Just realized my profile says I'm 14, that's not true my mistake. However, I do find it creepy that you stalked my profile and found an old post just to reply to this thread.

It's a pretty standard practice to ask way more for something when you are trying to get as much as possible for it. I'm not here to hook someone up. I'm here to make some money on my investment. If you don't agree with the price that's cool, I will get as much as I can for it.

Re: 1977 Batavus Bronco *NEAR MINT* $1500

such good ads for the Bronco

There is no money in mopeds, you need to have that mindset like we all do or perish on this site so click on flat view and relax.

Making money on investments is not part of moped armies mission statement:

"The Moped Army is the organizational end result of an outcropping of moped enthusiasts throughout the nation. Seeing it as more than just an easy and inexpensive way to get around town, members uphold the moped as a way of life.

Although the advantages as a mode of transportation are many, a similar mind set is what brings us together. We see the moped as more than a means of travel, and truly believe in the lifestyle that accompanies riding one.

It’s all about the moped’s aesthetic, its marginalized status in our society, the friendly traveling, easy stop communication, and our ability to enjoy the trip, as well as the destination"

This site is for helping people/hobbists with mopeds at a reasonable cost.

All high-priced flippers and profiteers are pretty much banned/spammed from the site.

Put your Edsel bike on eBay or craigslist though it won't go for much on there either.

Ha profiteering, stop being so dramatic. I'm trying to sell a moped that I spent a lot of time and money making nice. There are literally no other examples of this bike in this condition being sold on the internet right now.

If there wasn't some aspect of making money on this site why is there a buy/sell forum?

Then put it on ebay and gtfo moped army

Buy sell is to share/find parts, not to pay our mortgage with

I broke the moped army with an under-informed price point on a 77 Bat Bronco. ALERT THE TROOPS, shame this man!

That's your own fault for restoring a piece shit before researching its value.

There are no examples of that turd for sale cause they are not desirable.

Just cause you fucked yourself don't expect someone else to unfuck you.

Man up and live and learn. Bet you research next time.

Re: 1977 Batavus Bronco *NEAR MINT* $1500

We hate people coming here, using the resources and then trying to profit off something were passionate about. Especially when you dont know anything about them.

Try craigslist or ebay.

Glws elsewhere

Your own words...first post or not.^^^^

As already stated the buy sell was never intended for profiteering....that's just your weak minded take on it.^^^^

WRONG: The biggest Bragger/Flipper is right here on MA.

Re: 1977 Batavus Bronco *NEAR MINT* $1500

Anyone interested in this ped needs to know that stock motor parts are very hard to find much less any upgrades. I passed up on a nice top tank Bat with snowflakes last fall cause you can't get the belt, airbox, or cylinders for these motors........buyers beware.

You can get almost everything for the M48.
