These two shims one goes between the clutch bell and the crank shoulder, and one goes on after the clutch bell before the circlip. I can get by with just the .82 inner shim.
Would a range of different thickness V1 shims be desirable if I can put together some V1 shims pack- like I've done for e50 shims?
If so, what would be a good range of thicknesses to cover all possible scenarios? ID and OD?
I don't know jack about the V1....
I bought packets from mcmaster. you can get .8mm and .3. Stack the .3 ond you are good to go. the only thing is that you spend a measly $5 and end up with 20 though.
I found some. Mcmaster was my plan B.
Ah. If they are already that easy to acquire than I won't bother.
Just use a hacksaw blade for the spring plates
