FS: Derbi Revolution, someone buy this shit

I'm unemployed and need money until I can get another job so this baby has gotta go my friends!

Derbi Revolution w/Start 5 (kick start flat reed) motor:

* Rebuilt bottom end with Nachi/SKF bearings

* Rebuilt crank from Mr. Crankshaft + new malossi small end bearing

* Metrakit cylinder w/piston that I cut boost ports into to match the cylinder

* Motomatic race pipe

* Lomat intake w/vforce reeds and tm24 carb

* Lusito throttle and right hand brake lever (front brake)

* Stock Pirelli tires still in good shape

* Polini variator

* 2k contra spring

* Artek K2 clutch with white "sport" clutch springs and "cooling hole" cut into kickstart cover to cool the stock clutch bell down

Notes:

* A small chunk of rear fender is missing from my buddy falling off his board and it hitting the fender

* I removed the front headlight w/fairing (and sold it) and made some little brackets to use a normal CEV headlight. Makes things much simpler, and it kind of looks like a Ciao now.

* All plastics besides the front fairing come with it, except the oil tank cover, I don't have that one anymore.

What it needs:

* Nothing, or an HPI I guess. But you'd have to modify it to fit.

I'm looking for $1600, because if 1977mopeds can sell a Start 5 for $1625 with just a Giannelli pipe and a motor that probably needs rebuilt... then I can get that for this... OBO!

Re: FS: Derbi Revolution, someone buy this shit

Re: FS: Derbi Revolution, someone buy this shit

I even have a NEVER ran metrakit cylinder that I ported (copying same port work I have done on them prior and runs great) that I never bothered to install, maybe i'll get around to doing it this week. I will include it and an extra NEW piston ring, WOW!

Re: FS: Derbi Revolution, someone buy this shit

i'm coming through Kansas City and Omaha next week on a trip and can drop it off in any of these places.

Re: FS: Derbi Revolution, someone buy this shit

This is a really fun bike. It RIPS. Ryan does not cut corners with his builds.

Re: FS: Derbi Revolution, someone buy this shit

He usually files and dremels the corners ~ Then torques it all down to 1200 foot pounds of torque. Built to last and keeps his secrets hidden inside.

Re: FS: Derbi Revolution, someone buy this shit

Re: FS: Derbi Revolution, someone buy this shit

ok here are a couple pics, my phone is stuck in sepia, sorry.

Re: FS: Derbi Revolution, someone buy this shit

oh, and it has a title too. forgot to mention that.

Re: FS: Derbi Revolution, someone buy this shit

How did you squeeze a TM24 in there?

Re: FS: Derbi Revolution, someone buy this shit

Dan,

It involved cutting up the inside of the frame. There are two "pockets" (1 on each side, inside the frame there) that have to be cut out for a tm24 to fit. You can't tell unless the carb is out and you're looking inside. The wiring normally goes through those pockets, but I re-did the wiring on the bike, hardwired it, ran new wires, etc. so they don't run through the pockets (since they don't exist anymore). I had to remove the subframe, all the wiring, cables. etc to cut the pockets out, it was a lot of work to put a tm24 in there.

I'm sure you know about those pockets that i'm referring to since you own a revo or two.

Thanks for your question!
