edit: related, anyone know if a puch cable will work with the hobbit speedo drive? i know it wont fit the speedometer, but maybe you can switch out the cable and speedo for a puch? (edited)

Yikes, they are getting hard to find, but they do show up on eBay every once in a while.

Convert your system. I put a VDO speedometer, speedo drive, and cable. Life is good.

I have a speedo and cable in excellent condition if you still need it. showing 1305 miles and I just tested it a second ago and it works flawlessly. Let me know!
