FS FEELER E50 Kickstart Polini Built Motor

Andrew Schaefer /

I've decided to consolidate my projects and have a built kickstart E50 which I would consider selling if there is interest. The motor is assembled with a brand new polini kit installed.

Details:

-E50 Kickstart bottom end port matched to Polini

-unstuffed race crank w/ practically new bearings and seals

-Fresh 64cc Puch Polini Kit (installed)

-Malossi 4 petal reed block

-50cc High High Comp Head

-15mmm Dellorto PHBG

-K&N style Air Filter

-stock points ingnition

This motor is in really really nice cosmetic condition! The motor is sold AS IS... it has not been run with this setup/cylinder... so tuning/adjustment/modification should be expected for a dailed-in setup.

I'd like to get $500 for the whole setup. (shipping will be additional)

If seriously interested, please e-mail me at:

thanks,

Re: FS FEELER E50 Kickstart Polini Built Motor

So you are saying you want to sell $400 worth of parts for $500+shipping in other words..

Re: FS FEELER E50 Kickstart Polini Built Motor

polini plus head $255

4 petal $57

crank with bearings $125

PHBG $100

Cheapo filter $20

That's $557 WITHOUT the $100-$200 value of the kickstart bottom end OR labor.

I completely understand, but the way its worded and no pictures..come on. If i had a BRAND NEW polini and a BRAND NEW crank+bearings/seals and a BRAND NEW 15mm phbg i would say they were BRAND NEW 0 miles to eliminate confusion and to let you know what you are getting, oh and a couple pictures too......

Re: FS FEELER E50 Kickstart Polini Built Motor

Yes. Pictures or gtfo. Especially of the transfer match quality, since that's where most polini builds are skimped on.

My apologies for any confusion here... I marked my post as FEELER so as gauge interest and encourage anyone interested to inquire further...

The bottom-end/crank, PHBG, reed block, and head have less that 20 miles on them from a previous build. The Polini kit has 0 miles on it... I wouldn't techinically call it BRAND NEW because fins have been cut as is required for the malossi reed block to be used, but it has never been run.

Photos are attached.

A thank you to Jake for an accurate breakdown of what it would take to build a comparable motor.

Re: FS FEELER E50 Kickstart Polini Built Motor

@skunkworks, Where do you get those amazing looking red anodized hardware bits???

Re: FS FEELER E50 Kickstart Polini Built Motor

Andrew Schaefer /

Sorry, the motor is no longer available.

@Steven, those amazing bits are dress cup washers. They are made/sold by "Password:JDM" in application specific kits for honda automobile engines, but given that they're M6 and M8 they work well on peds too!
