Selling my '65 Sears/Puch Sabre

I just don't have the time for this project. Though it's really not

much of a project. It needs a new primary gear (there's one for sale

on ebay right now, and they're out there in general), and the header needs

to be tweaked a little to mate with the cylinder a little better. You're looking at a

couple hours or work, maybe.

There is some light surface rust in the tank, but nothing one night in

a gallon of vinegar wont clean up completely. It has perfect, giant

blue spark and is in great shape aside from that gear. It does run and

will run. This is a three-speed manual-shift 50cc motorcycle. Small

enough that you could probably get away with a moped sticker, but I

also had a friend do the Maine title-runaround, so this has all the

paperwork that you need to have it titled here in Mass or most anywhere else.

Has the stock 19mm Bing and pipe. Stock this will do mid to high 40s

(but manual shift means as much torque as you want). A new pipe and

you'll be in the 50s.

$600 OBO

This will be a super fun and reliable summer ride. More power

than a moped, smaller than a motorcycle.
