Looking for Motobecane pedals

I have the crank arm, but the actual pedals are missing.

Does anyone have any pretty cheap?

Thanks a ton.

put on some bike pedals?

Re: Looking for Motobecane pedals

Will that work?

Re: Looking for Motobecane pedals

I think bicycles use two different sizes so you will want to bring in one of the crank arms and try out some pedals, but they should work, yeah.

Re: Looking for Motobecane pedals

Alrighty, I will check into that.

Thanks! :)

I've got some spare stockers, in very used condition, if you need.

Re: Looking for Motobecane pedals

Go to walmart and buy the threaded nut that adapts bicycle pedals to your cranks..its like $15 for the pedals and adapters..

Re: Looking for Motobecane pedals

bicycle pedlas are either 1/2" or 9/16". 1/2" is common on jr or kids bikes. your pedals are most likely 9/16" but it would still be smart to double check.

when you know for sure you can look online for new cheap deals:

ebay

amazon

Re: Looking for Motobecane pedals

Mobys and Derbis, i think, use french thread pedals. Derbi's definitely do.

French-thread Pedals

Most French bikes sold in the U.S. used standard thread pedals:

9/16" x 20 TPI (14.29 mm x 1.27)

But older bikes made for the French market used a slightly smaller thread:

14 mm x 1.25 (.551" x 20.32 TPI)

If your cranks are made for standard-thread pedals, a French-thread pedals will fit in, but be very loose and will be unusable. It is not possible to put a standard pedal into a French crank without considerable violence.

It is possible to re-tap French cranks to take standard pedals. Use standard 9/16" x 20 taps.
