miscellaneous Maxi parts (seat, speedo, etc)

i dunno man, what do you want?

Re: miscellaneous Maxi parts (seat, speedo, etc)

Zoom in on that switch and speedo. Does it have a working bulb inside the speedo, does the switch work properly, etc? I'd be interested in these two items if all is there. Plug and play only baby, no time for searching down or fabing brackets.

i don't know if the light works, i don't have a running bike to test it on right now but i would say it is unlikely

i can't think of a reason why the switch wouldn't work? other than it not being attached to anything

Re: miscellaneous Maxi parts (seat, speedo, etc)

If you turn the speedo cable does the needle move? I'd be interested in the speedometer with cable, housing, and mounting bracket. If you have the drive and you are sure it is working (pretty easy to test) I would take this as well.

I'd say $20 + insured shipping.

Re: miscellaneous Maxi parts (seat, speedo, etc)

Also, you could test the bulb very easily by taking a 9 volt battery with two wires running to the two points. The polarity doesn't really matter. Or, it would obviously be blown if you take it out and look at it. I have spare bulbs for these speedos, I'd just rather not use them unless I really need to.

i will check to see if the needle moves and look around for a 9v battery when i get home from work today.

rack is tentatively sold.

Re: miscellaneous Maxi parts (seat, speedo, etc)

Just don't hold the bulb on it for too long. It's only a 6volt 1.2'ish watt bulb so it might pop it easily. Just a quick push on it to see if it brightens.
