Trade my fixed gear for your moped

Ok i know this is a long shot but i have a cutter fixed gear bike in good condition. I was wondering if anyone wanted to trade any kind of moped for it. I would prefer either a maxi or a ciao but whatever you got i will consider. So hit me up with what you got.

Re: Trade my fixed gear for your moped

Should be! Just think if that bike got into

the hands of a moped dude. That thing

would be a total death trap. 60+ for sure.

Re: Trade my fixed gear for your moped

Na gotta be a Dimoby clutch on there. He has no room for variation at all.

I would really love to see a video of that thing running. I'm guessing he uses the motor to get up to speed so he can start to pedal that monster gearing.

Re: Trade my fixed gear for your moped

post pix and list the parts. there are $100. fixed gears and $3000. fixed gears.

Re: Trade my fixed gear for your moped

Re: Trade my fixed gear for your moped

Re: Trade my fixed gear for your moped

Re: Trade my fixed gear for your moped

18t freewheel is not a fixed gear.

Also you need some super V wheels with minamal spokes or 4 star super V's

The rest I dunno about. But I know the wheelset is what makes a sale sell.

Re: Trade my fixed gear for your moped

Re: Trade my fixed gear for your moped

it is a flip flop hub with a free wheel and a fixed gear cog.

thought this was a volume cutter.

hell ill trade me v2 volume cutter for a nice ped

Re: Trade my fixed gear for your moped

that dude up there with the AV7 powered bicycle is a pace setter for a bicycle race, those bikes have existed for years. i made a thread about them in the past but i cant remember what they are called.

Re: Trade my fixed gear for your moped

put it on craigs and see what you can get. Schwinns arent the worst bikes out there, but their not as nice as the used to be (i have a 85 schwinn madison track bike)

i would keep the cutter if its your only fixie, save some $ and buy a ped u can have the best of both words! I have 3 bianchi pistas, the madison, a mercier kilo tt, masi speciale 2 mopeds so far a 77 puch newport (just bought yesterday) and a 76 peugeot 103. :)

Re: Trade my fixed gear for your moped

Hi tensile steel is a cheap low grade frame material.I've ridden bicycles my whole life and been a bike mechanic for 15 years and that's pretty much common knowledge.also Schwinn hasn't really made any hi-end bikes since the late 90's and even then they weren't great.no way is this thing worth a running moped.
