I am looking for a batavus m-48 motor or good bottom end. I went to replace my crank bearings and relized that there was a crack all the way through both halfs of the case. If any body has one they would sell me that would be sweet. I am located in grand rapids, MI so the closer the better.

Sorry if I've come off as a tease. I received a challenge, right after I posted this, to finish the whole Worlds Fastest Bat in time for the Deadpeds rally in April. So... the motor is off the market. I think anybody with a little ingenuity can figure out how to make their own though. I'll point out two things; you'll have to cut about 3.5mm off the top of the cylinder to compensate for the shorter stroke, and trim off a good chunk of the cylinder skirt for it to fit the m48 case. The rest is just like putting on any oversized kit on any motor. Fill where you need material and case-match.
