Buying parts from Germany

I just tried buying Sachs manual clutches from an ebayer from ebay.de

Although it says shipping to Europe only, he was gracious enough to agree to send to USA for only 6 Euros. I will let everyone know when my stuff arrives, but so far it has been a picture perfect ebay transaction, using Paypal for protection and easy monetary exchange.

He has his contact info there, but seems to work soley off ebay. This could end up being a nice resource for you Sachs lovers to get manual transmission stuff, and other hard to find in the USA stuff.

Re: Buying parts from Germany

I buy parts from europe all the time, both from ebay as well as distributors. Have rarely had a problem in the 14 years I have been ordering from overseas.

Funny thing is that the clutch plates I have been scanning the globe for...turns out Treats has an "unknown" clutch plate for nine bucks. I see this and it looks familiar so I sent him the measurements and lo and behold it is a Sachs manual clutch disc!
