FS: The Cleanest Magnum You've Ever Seen

The cleanest Magnum you've ever seen.

1978 Puch Magnum MK2 w/ stock ZA50 engine

Fully restored, starts first kick every time, runs like a dream, oil injection fully functioning.

Fill it up at the gas station and ride it around town (keeps up with traffic, tops out around 42/43) or throw a kit on it and rip.

Carries two riders easily, 2666 miles when purchased at the start of the summer, probably put two or three hundred on since. Everything has been tuned and tweaked to perfection by my crew, the guys at Choke and Shawn at Myron's Mopeds.

Fully restored:

Brand new Gazelle tires (2.25 front, 2.5 rear)

Clean and rust free

All wiring good

Brakes, cables, everything

New tranny fluid

Welded pedal

All new gaskets (tranny, head, carb)

Carb: cleaned, no leaks, jetted right

Rear axel modefied, new ball bearings, tight, secure

Gas tank: cleaned, sealed and coated, NO RUST!

New petcock, fuel line, filter

New stock center stand and spring

New plug, plug cap, plug cable

New tail light bulb

New oil line

New tranny fluid plug

Piston and cylinder inspected and cleaned

New piston rings

...I'm sure I'm forgetting something but it's all there, everything works and it needs nothing

Modifications:

Clubmans

Wiring hidden/ rerouted to inside right side panel

Techno Boss pipe (brand new) cut/ welded to fit stock cylinder

Head sanded to max compression

Third Eye bar end mirror

Freshly painted cylinder and head

Included but not pictured:

Stock bars

Extra stock pedal

Registration

Stock Mirror

Horn

I put a lot of money and time into this beauty but now I'm ready to move on to something with a little more power...like a motor cycle. I'm looking to get $2,000.00. I know it's a lot but I believe it's fair, since all said I've put about $2,500.00 into the build and restoration, parts, labor etc.

Message me if interested. Located in Los Angeles.

How come everyone is so mean? :(

Re: FS: The Cleanest Magnum You've Ever Seen

where is the 2500 put into this "build"?

Re: FS: The Cleanest Magnum You've Ever Seen

baaaaaaahhhhhaaaaaahhhhhhaaaahhhhhaaaaaahhhhaaaa!

Re: FS: The Cleanest Magnum You've Ever Seen

$1000 tops stock , If it was a "LTD" , yes $2500

Re: FS: The Cleanest Magnum You've Ever Seen

The 2,500 is the total cost of what I have put into it...includes original purchase, 300 shipping from texas (this is a realistic consideration because these things are hard to come by), 200 hundred from treats, 200 parts and labor at Choke, 200 parts and labor at Myron's...tires, tank cleaning/ sealing kit, parts from home depot, paint...it adds up. You can decide whether or not it's worth it to you. That's just how much I put in. It was worth it to me because it was a fun project. Now I'm ready to move on and I don't need to recoup all costs. Just trying to see what I can get.

Re: FS: The Cleanest Magnum You've Ever Seen

And its not completely stock...read the description please.

Re: FS: The Cleanest Magnum You've Ever Seen

I do not have the black plastic side chain covers.

Re: FS: The Cleanest Magnum You've Ever Seen

The rack is slightly bent. That doesn't mean it's not clean, though.

Nice bike but I'm curious as to what the little step cable thing is for in the lower left in this picture?

FS: The Cleanest Magnum You've Ever Seen

Ground floor apartment with bars on the windows, in case of fire, push down with foot and bars pop off...funny thing is lever is six inches from the front door.

Re: FS: The Cleanest Magnum You've Ever Seen

The rack is not bent, that's how they are...see random pic from internet attached

Whiskey Tango Foxtrot /

the rack on this one is pretty straight... this bike was $800... plus about $10 for fuel line, filter and plug , started right up. plus it had 47 orig. miles..... now it has about 60 .... yours is a real nice bike, but i gotta agree, about $1000 maybe $1200 with the right buyer.

your rack is bent. any "reference" pictures of magnums with racks like this one also have bent racks.

this dude in seattle bought like 4 nos silver magnums out from under 77 a year or so ago and he was on here trying to sell them for 2000 each and it never happened. nos. that means brand new, all parts accounted for, zero miles, and no bent racks, dude couldn't get 2k.

good luck
