Hi all,
I know this is a Moped forum, but I also know that many of you ride motorcycles too. I thought I would post a for sale ad for my 1972 Honda 175 cafe styled bike.
It was originally a CL, but I have had a lot of work done on it since I first bought it almost two years ago. The bike is in really great shape, beyond the occasional tweeks that are needed for any bike from the 70s. It has new tires, new seat, new exhaust wrap, and new petcock gaskets. The handlebars, down pipes, battery and plugs are also pretty new. The carbs have been jetted, the voltage regulator replaced, and it has new fuel lines and filters.
Most of the mechanical work was done at Garage Company (formally in Venice, but now in Hyde Park), and all the aesthetic stuff was done at Lossa Engineering (Long Beach). The down pipes were fabricated at Illuminate (Silver Lake).
Anyway, it s a good little bike for anyone who is into small engine Hondas. It is small, but if you are under six feet (I'm six-one) it should fit nicely. Post if you are interested and I will send you an e-mail. Thanks.
