I just acquired a 1982 Bombardier Eagle I and need to find some parts for it. The bike appears to be a rebadged Sachs with a 5051D. I need a pair of lower fork legs, compression valve, both engine covers, left handlebar switchbox, and a taillight. Anyone got something laying around that will work?
Also, does anyone know the name that Sachs gave this style of bike before it was rebadged by Bombardier?
Looks like a Sachs Balboa to me...
Stacy from Winnipeg (artificialharmony@gmail.com) has a lot of sachs parts up for sale, there is a post somewhere in here. It's all 504s, I think, but things like the decomp valve should be universal

I have the decomp valve for $40 new, but you can bypass it and redo the trans cable if you're not weak. I have the switch box and tail light at fatcitymoped.com
