OT: 80cc H2O 6speed case inducted CDI 26mm miku

Its not a moped engine, its a yz80 race set up. I was going to put it on a moped, but then I did not. It is an 80cc, six speed manual, that is water cooled, with CDI, case induction, and a 26mm Mickuni carb. comes with radiator and all lines, runs as is sitting on the floor.

This is not a toy like what we play with, it has real parts and real performance. The ports on this thing make an 80 metras look like pin holes. It ran speeds of 60+ on a dirt bike with 14;50 gearing and a 14inch rear wheel, if you are brave enough to put it on a moped, be prepared to go 80+

It is a lil bit smaller than a MB5 engine and a lil bit bigger than a Garelli vip engine.

I dont need to sell this, I just want some one to have fun with it. will trade for some fun moped parts, homoet and motomatic pipes especially, or will take 250 shipped to the lower 48s

This is not the my engine but its a photo I found to give you some idea how big the ports are.... .HUGE!

Re: OT: 80cc H2O 6speed case inducted CDI 26mm mik

Re: OT: 80cc H2O 6speed case inducted CDI 26mm mik

man this would fit in my ysr... hmmm...

Re: OT: 80cc H2O 6speed case inducted CDI 26mm mik

Hmm. I just picked up some SL70s without powerplants. Nice, tube-frame, tiny motorcycles begging for a good engine.

I think I'm headed your way in a bit.

Thinking about it...

"man this would fit in my ysr"

Yeah, 'cause, you know, a YSR is so slow and unresponsive.

Re: OT: 80cc H2O 6speed case inducted CDI 26mm mik

Well my YSR is because it has a broken crank. A new crank is $400 or I could buy this for $250, step up a few cc's and get awesome water cooled action. Its a pretty common up grade for YSR's. Is that okay with you now?

Re: OT: 80cc H2O 6speed case inducted CDI 26mm mik

Beat! Did you break the crank?

Not with a hammer - I mean, were you riding it when it went?

That must have been... exciting.

Re: OT: 80cc H2O 6speed case inducted CDI 26mm mik

Nope, bought it that way, $50. Then seeing that cranks were like $400 got a motor off ebay for about $100. It has a blown clutch pushrod seal. Got a new one and put it in, didnt work and I'm pretty sure I lost the ball bearing that sits at the end of the pushrod in the case. I should really just go through it all and make it work but Im lazy.

Re: OT: 80cc H2O 6speed case inducted CDI 26mm mik

Hooray, threadjack. Sorry Nate, I'll say "bump" in a minute.

James, tell me you really got a YSR for $50. And a YSR motor for 100.

That's effing fantastic. I was pleased with my little SL70 lot, but

it's nothing compared to rare 50cc sportbike on the cheepz.

Okay. Bump. Pardon.

Re: OT: 80cc H2O 6speed case inducted CDI 26mm mik

So Nate, no call or email from you yet. text me your number and I will call you , I want this!

Re: OT: 80cc H2O 6speed case inducted CDI 26mm mik

Re: OT: 80cc H2O 6speed case inducted CDI 26mm mik

Re: OT: 80cc H2O 6speed case inducted CDI 26mm mik

So I am still waiting for some kind of response from Nate, anyone here knows him ask him to contact me please, thanks!

Re: OT: 80cc H2O 6speed case inducted CDI 26mm mik
