Dont get me wrong because that is a very clean super sport..but thats no LTD. Limiteds have 7 star gold mags, navy blue frames, and 2spd noi.

Re: Feeler/FS: 1978 Garelli SSXL LTD

Not in 1978 they didn't.....it has the LTD sticker still on the top of the tank.

oil injection has been removed. The 2 speed came later 1980.

Re: Feeler/FS: 1978 Garelli SSXL LTD

Wee ooo wee ooo! Price Police! Stupid! Overpriced! It goes 30 now, but all you have to do to make it go faster is bolt on speed parts that you purchase!

Re: Feeler/FS: 1978 Garelli SSXL LTD

I sold an actual 1980 SSXL LTD 2-speed running for a lot less than $800. You asked for our opinion and that is overpriced.

LA prices.... 800 seems fairish... for LA or SF, but not in any of the flyover states...

Re: Feeler/FS: 1978 Garelli SSXL LTD

I've seen project Garelli's that don't run going for $500.

I put allot of time into this....cleaning the rust out the tank alone was a mission.

I only know of two other SSXL here in LA....make that 3 not including mine.

Re: Feeler/FS: 1978 Garelli SSXL LTD

I wouldn't pay more than $300, if it was a 2spd, maybe $450. I took too long to get marshall's and now I'm regretting it.

Re: Feeler/FS: 1978 Garelli SSXL LTD

@MARTIN-$300 sounds good in Kentucky but here in LA it's whole different market.

Dude project bikes here start at around $450 to $500.
