Looking for a used whole assembly. My connecting rod went tits up and i bought a new connecting rod and just learned that those aren't the easiest things to replace. It sucks. If anyone has one for sale let me know how much you want and we'll work something out.

I have one covered with corrosion??? Should be fine if you clean it with a green scotch bright for an hour or so though. Can send it to you if you pay shipping.
Actually, I just straightened out my con rod in a vice. Its straight now so it should work fine for a while. When it bends again i'll resurface this post.

Rebent in a vice? That sounds suspect but I hope it works.
yeah bending and rebending a rod reduces it's durability by a whole bunch. Pay a hundo and get your crank pressed and balanced right
Yaaa I would not risk the rest of the engine with a re straightened con rod if it blows ---big pieces of hardened alloy flying about in ones engine can never come to a good end
