Re: 1968 Peugeot 101

I am in Oceanside, NY. Where are you? It runs great! Yes, 400- is a fair offer.

Grab it Frank!

Re: 1968 Peugeot 101

I am between Levittown & Bethpage, but have no way to transport it. My car is too small to use its trunk, any suggestions? Is this legal for on the roads? Does it need a license plate (Class C)? I had a Java 225 that used a Class B because it had no pedals, but I see this does. I miss my Jawa (which is now in the junkyard -- cracked engine casing due to overheating issue, too $$$ to fix).

Re: 1968 Peugeot 101

Not sure how you could transport it? I have a car too. Maybe you have a friend who has an SUV or a truck. I never registered it, but it was registered by the previous owner in 1993-1994.

Re: 1968 Peugeot 101

Is your car a large one? I transported my Jawa 225 in the trunk sideways (gas was removed) in my old car, although half of it stuck out, I got it all the way to NJ. If you have a large trunk car, and I bring lots of blankets & sheets, can it fit in your trunk? No one in my neighborhood has a SUV/Pickup that I know of. Oceanside is too far to ride it to Bethpage I would think.

Re: 1968 Peugeot 101

The trunk on my car is small. Maybe you could rent a trailer from u haul? It can't be very expensive.
