FS: Batavus VA-50 in NH

I originally bought this moped to fix up for my sister.

Well she decides she doesn't want to put any money into it (or pay me back for the initial cost and parts for it) so I'm selling it to try and get back what I've put into it.

Aesthetically it's in great shape. All original with 460 miles on it.

I got it running. I had it running great a few weeks ago, did close to 30 and took hills like a champ. I just started it today, and would barely pull my weight. Needs a proper air filter (my homemade one is quite restrictive, and dirty), and a better exhaust seal (mine leaks).

It's got the 26mm 30mph exhaust on it. I also did "the batavus clutch mod" (more info on that in the forums / wiki). Carb is a Dellorto 14:12.

I've also got a spare engine to go with it (Laura M48).

It's missing both side covers for the engine. Lights don't work.

Just needs some love and tuning. Asking $300

Re: FS: Batavus VA-50 in NH

ttt

I'd like to see if anyone's interested in buying as is before I put any more money, effort into her.

And I'm tired of punks on craigslist who want something for nothing.

Offers... try me.
