Re: FS: bad ass custom rebuilt black Puch E50 engi

Will that epoxy paint resist carb cleaner?

I'm not trying to be a dick, I was just wondering.

Re: FS: bad ass custom rebuilt black Puch E50 engi

truthfully I dont know but you shouldnt be sraying carb cleaner on you bike unless your checking for air leaks and even then if you put the kit on right you wont ever have to spray carb cleaner

I will check and get bak to you

Re: FS: bad ass custom rebuilt black Puch E50 engi

I just sprayed a paice of metal with carb cleaner that I used as a tester it took about 2 min of direct spray for paint to start coming off.

however I did not cure that peice in the oven like I did the engine cases(300 degrees for 60 min) and once the engine is started up and ran for a good 30 min the heat will continue to cure the paint

Re: FS: bad ass custom rebuilt black Puch E50 engi

Please, stop calling the primary drive gear a 'cog'. It sounds like you don't know what you're doing.

A gear is a cog anyway you cut it. Different strokes for different folks!
