Shipping a Moped

Has anybody had any luck shipping a moped cross country for a reasonable price? All the good deals on Ebay are in the Midwest or East. It almost makes me want to rent a big truck and go pick up a mess of them and bring them out to Cali, where mopeds make more sense and can be ridden year round.

Greyhound bus baby!!!

Re: Shipping a Moped

You can stay in cali. Riding a moped makes sense EVERYWHERE. If it made more sense in Cali, you would think there would be more there...

There is a good number of us who ride through the winter here in the midwest.

Re: Shipping a Moped

I have shipped motorcycles before with uship.com. You put what you need shipped, from where, and to where and people bid on shipping it. Works good.

Re: Shipping a Moped

DHL also has pretty fair rates.

Shipping a Moped

My brother shipped me two mopeds in three boxes on a greyhound bus. He was stationed in Monterey, CA and shipped them to me in Kansas. This was the cheapest route we could find, but this was in 04, so things could have changed.
