The best way to repack a biturbo is with steal wool. no lies
Truth. some lies, but this ain't one of 'em.
do you simply pack the "end" of the pipe with the steal wool?
Yup. Stuff it pretty good and then recap it.
Better still SS or copper pot scrubbers. No rusty crap coming out.
they sell 2 stroke muffler packing at any off road dirtbike/atv shop.
i like using incense and potpourri
Is the diffuser tube still there? Or is the whole gold can just empty?

I have more photos if you need more info. I ordered the end cap from Mopedwarehouse.com

yeah, the whole diffuser tube is gone. I am just a tard... and thought that the "diffuser tube" was called the "baffling." Shows how freakin' noob I am. Thanks all for the advice!
NEW QUESTION: Should I be using this thing without the gold tube, baffling, and end cap? It is loud as heck, but it works... I am getting up to 40mphs now, as opposed to the 31 I was getting before I bolted this thing on.
I am guessing it might make it run too lean...
bump
I've been pulled over in town for being too loud when I was running sans silencer. Just keep a lid on it when the fuzz is crawling.
I am trying to come up with a fabrication for a silencer...
Get an energy drink can, hi temp pain and 2 large hose clamps.
Cut the top of the can off.
Paint it with Hi-temp paint. (Black looks cool)
Clamp it on.
I don't know how broken yours is.
Mine still was sticking out.
that's a good idea, ryan. I am going to give this a try. thnxs
dude... that was a great idea, ryan! it worked great. thnxs again.
I'll have pics tomorrow...
Hey,
Don't forget to fill it with steel wool. It sounds pretty cool to!
I haven't made a diffuser tube yet... should I still fill it with steel wool?
Yes, it doesn't really matter. It depends on how quite you want it.
