I'm looking for a cdi box that will fit on a kinetic tfr but not the cdi from the kinetic, is there such thing as a universal cdi???

I am not sure, but I think the Vespa ones are the same

i though vespa cdi was when you put the cdi off a kenitic on your vespa..

Yeah, you may be right.. I am thinking of just the HT coil. I know people have switched those out

cdi external coils are cdi external coils.
if yours is 12v, any 12v cdi coil should work.
