wtb puch intake gasket

i'm tired of getting ripped off by parts stores for a handling fee that costs more than what i want to buy. if you're parting something out (or know of a shop that doesn't charge a handling fee), i'm willing to pay up to $5 for an intake gasket.

thanks

lisa

Lisa,

I have a bunch that I just made myself out of gasket paper. Send me your address and I'll drop one in the mail today for you.

Re: wtb puch intake gasket

lisa, take your intake manifold, take a marker and color all over it now stamp it down on a piece of paper around the same thickness. cut it out with an exacto knife and voila!

90% of us here make our own gaskets,

Re: wtb puch intake gasket

You can hold the paper on there, and rub or tap on it enough to leave a groove. Then cut it out too. Pencil works good for a rubbing too.

Yep, I'd send ya one too, but I don't have the same bike to go by.

Re: wtb puch intake gasket

Like they all told you except use the back of a spoon to rub the gasket papers that works best.
