WTB Mobylette parts

Hi;

I am looking for a Variator and Clutch assembly for a friend's Mobylette 50V. I ma also looking for a Movi nut and the magneto coils for a 6V system. I should mention that if anyone has a 50V engine, seized or not, he would be interested.

Re: WTB Mobylette parts

Anyone parting one of these? I thought that most people hated Mobylettes?

Re: WTB Mobylette parts

I lot of people love mobylettes like me.

and good variators are hard to find.

I have some messed up variators, some variator parts

I have some stator parts too.

give me few days and I will see if I can help

Are you talking about the flywheel retaining nut?

Re: WTB Mobylette parts

The flywheel retaining nut is called the Movi nut in the shop manual. As for the variators, what goes wrong with them? I always thought that they were simply a variable ratio pulley of sorts that used ball bearings as fly weights.

Re: WTB Mobylette parts

o and i got some moby parts too.

i have a seized engine.no piston though.

the crankcase has to be opened up and cleeaned out with some heavy duty degreaser.

but im asking 70 shipped.email me

Re: WTB Mobylette parts

How can it be siezed if the piston is missing, or do you mean the cylinder?

Re: WTB Mobylette parts

Is the engine still in decent shape and not seized? Contact me if you decide to parts the bike out.

Re: WTB Mobylette parts

If you could give more detail about this engine we could talk. I should tell you that you would have to do better then $70 for a seized engine, even with shipping included.

I don't know much about the compatibility of the parts

Re: WTB Mobylette parts

Serge;

If you want some wheels why don't you email Peter directly or post your own ad?
